“Scalable strategies for a next generation of #FAIR bioimaging” was the title of a presentation by our colleague @joshmoore at the CIDAS Colloquium in Göttingen at the end of January. He illustrated the long journey of data formats towards standardization with a focus on the development of next generation file formats (#NGFFs), which are promising candidates for a globally aligned data format.
