The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is using Google (Gaza genocide collaborator) owned Youtube ("Holocaust-denier" & "white supremacist" trainer) to distribute the new "Sounds of Australia".
Epstein Class captured.
But they don't list Twitter as a way to interact with them. 😀
(Back to the sewer) they do list Facebook (genocide promotion tool) and Instagram.
Excepting for promoting the use of genocide collaborators ...

For folks working in #archives, #OpenContent, #editing, #libraries or #OpenData, you won't want to miss #WikiconAustralia, brought to you by @wm_au and hosted at the #NFSA.
Includes tutorials on #OpenRefine, and workshops on handling #Indigenous material in culturally appropriate ways (such as the CARE principles).
Oh #arse.
I have double-booked myself for a #Greens meeting and also for the Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band fillum.
I buggered up my calendar for last month's Greens meeting too, so regrettably, no Conway brothers for me.
Poo.
Does anyone want my two #tickets? It is at 1pm, National Film and Sound Archive. (I imagine it is BYO rubber chicken / kazoo)

Double French film weekend.
First time watch of the adorable Amelie (2001) and rewatch of the super cool Subway (1985).
Amelie was at the #NFSA but Subway was streamed.
Fred, a raffish safe blower, takes refuge in the Paris Metro after being chased by the henchmen of a shady businessman from whom he has just stolen some documents. While hiding out in the back rooms and conduits of the Metro, Fred encounters a subterranean society of eccentric characters and petty criminals.
Super excited that Dr. Keir Winesmith is one of the keynotes for @everythingopen #EverythingOpen #EO2026 in Canberra in January.
The #NFSA are doing incredible things with #transcription of speech archives with their Bowerbird project, and their commitment to #AI and #ML practices is sector-leading. Interested in what he has to say.
Army of Darkness, Evil Dead 3, Bruce Campbell's and Sam Raimi's greatest achievement - whatever you call it, is one of my favourite films.
I watched this for maybe the 20th time but this time at the #NFSA as part of the Science.Art.Film program. A half hour discussion followed the movie with two scientists from the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science - Dr Graham Walker, a public science educator, and Dr Anna-Sophie Jürgens, a Senior Lecturer in Science Communication, about the science and technology themes in the movie and more broadly.
Ended with a demonstration of his homemade, vacuum-cleaner-powered, marshmallow boomstick and a good thing too because a deadite showed up to terrorise everyone.
Awesome 😎
Last night I went to the #NFSA to see a Cult Classic screening of Silence of the Lambs with my daughter. Kicked off with an amazing, Lambs-themed, interpretative dance, it was a great night.
I spent a few hours this afternoon watching the jousting and checking out the #LARP culture at the Mediaeval Fair at Queanbeyan.
Now I'm out at Uni of Canberra to check out Melbourne MC, Seth Sentry. If his warm up act, Martian, is anything to go by, this will be great - the crowd are well into it!
