Bean 🇺🇸🇻🇪FWIW, "Reporting as Eligible" rightfully became a punchline heard frequently all day today from analysts and booth commentators on both networks.
Watching Van Pelt on ESPN. Apparently #70 never spoke to the refs and couldn't have been eligible anyway because of the formation. #68 clearly spoke to the ref to report as eligible. The play was executed to perfection. The refs simply screwed up á la the infamous botched heads/tails call.
Inexcusable.
