If you live in #Australia, Growing For Broke (2015?) by the late Peter North is a must-read.

We speak in the language of #ConvivialSufficiency. The way we can achieve this is by "Getting #NEOeD", which may involve punching upwards at those perpetrating the #statusQuo.

This 3 to 7.5% rule has been widely documented as the #criticalMass generally needed. Once a movement reaches and is buoyed by 7.5 percent, it's a win.

The path to 7.5% is still tough though.

It will be a path of #directAction and getting #NEOeD but more acheivable than 100%, right?!

Is it time to adopt a #newInternet?

#Tor and #i2p can help us cut through the #corporateState #narratives. Even if we don't use Tor. Using services like #Searx for #webSearching and #invidious for #videoAccess we can help to break the existing power structure.

How we use #technology affects us.

#Protesting is not enough. We also need to #network, #educate, #organise #engage with powerholders and #disobey where needed. We need to get #NEOED.

Smarter use of tech can get us there faster.

The quote "his family had ties to the #slaveTrade" sounds like a tenuous link, tbh.

The question should be did he actually benefit from those ties? Many have #family ties to all sorts of unsavoury stuff, and that honestly means nothing to us; definately not a sign of endorsement or of benefit. In fact, in many ways it is a hindrance.
