Charles 𝄢 HI'm having trouble sending NDI output from OBS.
Ok, I installed the NDI plugin for OBS and I can get a screen cast from my phone into OBS, so it partly works.
The OBS input sees itself (and the other ubuntu laptop with the same plugin), but the NDI output is not actually sending an image.
So input works, but output seems not to.
I would prefer not to use NDI, but I need to get the laptop's webcam input into vMix on a separate windows computer.

🤦🏻♂️ Windows updates continue to be a mixed bag. The August 2025 security patch is causing NDI video streams to stutter badly, disrupting OBS and broadcast workflows. The culprit appears to be changes in RUDP, which NDI relies on for low latency streaming. Workarounds exist (switch to TCP/UDP or uninstall the patch), but they’re hardly ideal. Microsoft hasn’t provided a fix timeline yet. Microsoft, where “security update” and “production stability” collide, and real-world users pay the price.
