To anyone in North Carolina who is either a registered Democrat or independent, I highly recommend voting for candidate Justin E. Dues for the Senate Nominee. Thoroughly anti-billionaire, Healthcare as a human right, increasing minimum wage and opposes Gerrymandering. Rarely have I truly support 100% but Dues is it.
I will be voting for him in March.

Republican concedes long-unsettled NC court election to Democratic incumbent

The Republican challenger for a North Carolina Supreme Court seat has conceded last November’s election to the Democratic incumbent. Jefferson Griffin said in a statement to The Associated Press on Wednesday that he would not appeal a federal judge’s decision favoring Associate Justice Allison Riggs. Griffin’s decision sets the stage for Riggs to be officially elected to an eight-year term as an associate justice. It would end the nation’s last undecided race from the 2024 general election. The federal judge said disputed ballots challenged by Griffin must remain in the final tally and ordered results to be certified to show Riggs is the winner by 734 votes.

Josiah Young was born and raised in North Carolina. The 20-year-old attended college in North Carolina and runs a drone photography business in the state. So Young was surprised to learn that the North Carolina Supreme Court recently ordered his 2024 general election ballot to be discarded based on the false allegation that he was "never" a resident of the state.

Young's ballot is one of about 260 that the North Carolina Supreme Court ordered to be invalidated after they were challenged by Jefferson Griffin, a candidate for a seat on the North Carolina Supreme Court. Griffin, a Republican, lost by 734 votes to Democrat Allison Riggs. Two recounts have confirmed Riggs' victory. But Griffin has continued to challenge the result, claiming that tens of thousands of ballots, including Young's, should be tossed. #northcarolina #uspol #ncpol #NCPolitics #democracy #uspolitics
