I'd like to connect a usb ethernet dongle to my nokia #n900 on #PostmarketOS
If I connect the dongle to other computers, it uses the module r8152. So I configured and compiled the kernel for pmos.
Now I can load the module, but the eth device still doesn't show up.
In the wiki https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Nokia_N900_(nokia-n900) , there's a quote:
"With some work, it most likely should work with manual activation."
How do I do this?
Am I missing something or are we doomed to have terrible boot experience even with maemo-leste on N900.
The backlight doesn't work at boot, and there is a 2 minutes blackout before the phone boots proper.
Nach langer Zeit mein Nokia N900 fit gemacht. Maemo Leste läuft nur von SD-Karte. Leider lief darunter auch nicht mein WLAN. Also nutze ich das jetzt wieder mit Fremantle als Kamera, Voice Recorder und fur Notizen.
