This is really going to help when debugging the mycelium network.

A great piece by @ggpsv on setting up a "home cloud" to take back control of your online life. And it mentioned #N4SA by @mwl I'll just note that the kickstarter is open for the second edition here https://mwl.io/ks

Polishing the #n4sa section on traceroute:

"Identifying the problem, determining that your organization is not responsible for that problem, and passing that information to whoever’s demanding a resolution can make your day easier. If they get pushy, remind them that the Internet is fragile and that running business over it was always a bad idea."

Once I finish #n4sa, I go on to OpenZFS Mastery with @allanjude. But after that, torn between a DNS book and a "Netflow for Sysadmins" book.
#n4sa covers Windows, Linux, and BSD, so the obvious cover art is Edward Hopper's "Nighthawks."

Woke up this morning to see my web site hammered. Some lovely person shilled #n4sa on Hacker News.

We get the fancy ramen tonight!

okay, that's #gitcommitmurder and #n4sa uploaded to Google Play.

Book uploads are tedious. The site developers have clearly not talked to authors authors. They've probably never SEEN an author. Everything should be on one page. Pondering goals for 2019. Must be things I can control, so as much as I'd like to say "earn a million bucks" I can't control that.

Thinking of an "if I'm healthy" four tech books and four novels goal, including new editions of #N4SA and #sudomastery (driven by https://mwl.io/archives/3229), #fmjail, and at least one more. It's not hard, if I'm healthy.

But then there's the "if unhealthy" goal. Not sure what I should do here.

But my goals fail forward. Writing 4 books = 4 more than I have now!

Second Editions versus the Publishing Business
