Myth of Empires sta per ricevere una grande espansione, il DLC della Civiltà Persiana, che include nuove armi e nuovi contenuti. Un'anteprima di tredici nuove armi è stata rilasciata da Angela Game, lo sviluppatore del gioco. Le nuove armi includono spade, asce, martelli, archi e scudi. Il DLC Persia è ancora in fase di sviluppo, ma dovrebbe uscire presto.
