Third in my #MyTwitterHistory thread was a very personal, and to me, very important thread I wrote about why I support #Ukraine. I wrote it on May 18th 2024, the day after our Constitution Day. It seemed to hit a nerve, because it was the only thread I ever wrote that got more than 1M views.

It seems like this needs repeating: - The Soviet Union was not a union. - It was Russian occupation. - It was Russian imperialism. - It was brutal, cruel and oppressive. - The West abandoned the East. - And Russia made them suffer. - Just like they do to Ukraine now. Thanks. #MyTwitterHistory
