I often like the way #Kdrama uses sound for humor, and a good example is #MySweetMobster. I don’t remember the specific examples, but there were a few times in the early episodes where the music or soundtrack cracked me up. And of course there was also the sound of Uhm Tae-goo’s voice 😂

An ex-gangster starts a company to give ex-convicts a 2nd chance but his past follows him. A children's content creator gets involved with him & his company & a suspicious prosecutor. The story is nothing new, - a love triangle, a childhood love, forced separation, & more tropes.
BUT it's still funny, clever & sweet! The acting is wonderful & the chemistry amongst all - except the 2nd ML (It is intentional, his clothes even reflect his blandness) is fabulous. The ML's sidekicks provide comic relief. The 2nd couple is so lovely. Wordplay is smart, & the symbolism with colors & flowers (FL's fav, sunflower, means "happiness" & that is totally what she brings to the world). The FL's costumes are cute, the MLs' clothes are perfect, & his voice deserves a mention. Sound effects, the dog, & the animations all work beautifully! Great OST! A very FUN watch!
