@kirrix and I played Carcassonne, just the very base game with no farmers even.

But it was really fun, it is competitive, but it didn't feel brutal. I think it *could* but it's nice to have the option for a more friendly game.

I think with the right players this is a good bridge off into competitive games for someone who prefers coop. It's very possible for the players to focus on their own areas without trying to screw over the other players.

Not as much embroidery progress was made today as I'd hoped, but that is okay as I am not taking the bike for groceries on Monday due to a lot of different stuffs.

But it was a very productive day.

Now time to curl up with the heating pad and my favourite Murderbot book thusfar (Network Effect).

Tomorrow shall be more embroidery and Hobbity shenanigans!

I picked up our weekly grocery order on my bike.

The trailer attachment didn't fit (will need a teensy mod that I didn't have time for this morning) so backpack, cargo rack, and two panniers! But I fugging did it.

I unexpectedly have a free day!

The costume commissions are packed and awaiting pickup.

All the assistant work I'm doing for the local artist is on hold waiting for his feedback, etc

What shall I do with my glorious free time? I have a new paint palette to fill, so probably that.

Then maybe some crochet and painting? Video games? So much glorious free time!

I am off for a sushi and studio date with a friend tonight.

Excited and nervous for my first time drawing "proper" figures.

My boys (hubby and adult son) just got really excited when they found out the local pizza place is doing a BOGO XL pizza deal. So that's what *they're* doing, lmao.

Idk why but it tickles me. Sometimes my boys are just such lads.

I biked to the store today! It was super fun and only a little scary.

There isn't a crossing for the very large street at my house road. So I think next time I'm going to go a little bit more round about, but on bike lanes and residential roads the whole way back.

Made the big grown up girl choice to eat at home instead of going to McD's

Now I'm gonna curl up with some Story of Seasons until hubby and son are done with D&D (each of them are DMing their own game, we are a House of Nerds).

Then it will be time to get depressed about millionaires driving in weird circles (Miami F1 Grand Prix)

Super productive day after managing to go back to sleep this morning.

Made new England rolls for tonight's dinner. Baguettes for tomorrow.

Have potato slices drying out to make fresh crisps for dinner.

Also did all of the laundry (sheets, towels and clothes!), cleaned the living room, gave the couches a refresh with hypochlorous acid water (I love my Nellie's 99).

Now we're curled up watching f1 sprint quali.

Absolutely lovely Friday.
