We've been loving My Shelfie! More just gimmicky great components, there is an interesting game here. Clever tile drafting and pattern building using a Connect 4 (sort of) mechanism. Highly recommended for families and fans of light-to-medium weight games.

For Easter, my MIL got us #MyShelfie The Dice Game. Three of us played it for the first time tonight and both times, we almost all scored identical scores. It doesnt seem like there are enough unique combos you can make with the dice so everyone ends up marking the same shelves.
It also seems like the rule stating you can only use one wild per combination really forces people into the same choices.
Are we just missing something?
For the first half of November I’d played no new #BoardGames then suddenly loads came at me 😍
None of them were especially stand-outs though. My favourite new lightweight game was #MyShelfie whereas #RiverOfGold was a nice medium weight game with a blinged out gold foil board.
I was pleased to get to play #SaltonSea which is definitely a heavy weight game but I’m not really sure if I liked it that much?
