I know "cis on trains" isn't really a thing, but let me have this, I'm excited to be on a train.
Getting some decent progress on this cardi, too!

The problem with #MeMadeMay is that most of my me-made clothes are quite wintery, and May tends to be not.
But today it's a lot cooler here so I'm sporting this recently completed #MyPreciousSweater while also knitting on a cardigan that will probably be great for May next year!
This morning we had a delightfully wriggly little visitor, pictured here in a bit of a huff because he wasn't allowed up on the couch. He'll be coming to stay with us for a few days soon so expect LOTS of dog pics and I'm not even sorry.
A way overdue finish, but a finish nonetheless!
"My Precious Sweater", crocheted in Ice Yarns Alara which it turns out is the most fabulous purple in the whole entire world.
I made the body a bit shorter than called for, and left the sleeves wide and long and comfy.
Very pleased, I'll wear this one a ton!
One of the best things about #crochet, imo, is how it's just sort of always basically finished.
Like, this is supposed to be a full length jumper with long sleeves. But I could absolutely just weave in the ends at this point and call it a cropped boxy top, and I think that's cool!
Back on my bs, where by bs I actually mean "crocheting this gloriously purple jumper".
Every day this week I've planned to make progress on other projects.
Every night this week my fingers have been cold so I've just defaulted to mindless crochet instead.
My Precious Sweater pattern, using Ice Yarns Alara which I'm very much enjoying and might be the best purple ever.
Right that's quite enough typing, back under my heated blanket I go.
I declare this shade of purple yarn to be my new favourite thing!
I also declare it borderline impossible to capture on camera but this is close enough.
