It seems the show has reached its ceiling; now it's just more of the same episode. Situations in which the Manager does goofy things. The story doesn't really move, nor do the characters evolve in any way.
Shame, really. I would have loved to see a deeper story. I'll finish the 2 episodes I have left, but I don't expect any big twists.
For a moment, a brief moment, I imagined his brother not being goofy.
I was wrong. The goofiness comes in the genes.
Very chill episode, I was in Akita last month during my #Japan2026 trip.
Living together, and working together. Now that's fantasy. How can you even handle seeing the same person all day, every day, and not develop any romantic feelings?

Bastards, they baited us with the episode title, but we're far from our main character living together.
I'm not even sure any romantic steps will be taken; I think it's just a healthy work relationship. They even talked about girlfriends in this episode, even though a new character said he's bisexual.
Was I wrong to assume this was BL?
This anime was already cute, then they decided to crank it up to 11 and throw a cat into the mix.
This episode was too much. If you live with a cat, it hits you harder.
Ok, we got a bit more flashback toxic moments than I care for, but overall it was very funny.
I caught myself laughing out loud in the lost child scene when he gives his name. I identify with Momose saying "manageeeer!".

I got a bit worried at the very beginning about the main character's anxiety from his toxic workplace, but I think this will soon be over, and we'll get into their dynamic and forget about the past.
