So politics aside, if you have a library card/membership in Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and the US, you should have access to KANOPY which is a streaming service. (apparently a uni ID also works?) You get access to popular, classic and international movies, tv shows and documentaries of all varieties. *Note that it does operate on a token system ie you get 12 tokens per month and each movie etc has it's own rating as to how many tokens it takes to stream. Plus you get 72 hrs access to the item.

Every Wed/Thursday new items of all types and genres are added to the inventory.

There are a host of Korean language movies on KANOPY with dramas now slowly trickling in as well.
There are works with many familiar faces like Gong Yoo, Oh Jung Se, Lee Byun Hun, Song Kang Ho, Park Bo Young, Hwang Jung Min, Jo In Sung, Jang Hyuk 😍 and more.

Some examples of movies now available:

-Park Chan Wook's #JointSecurityArea

If you want to step away from men and women being rough and tumble 😂 and don't mind the possibility of a snot inducing ugly cry, might I suggest a great 2014? documentary

#MyLoveDon'tCrossThatRiver

15 month observation of an elderly couple, married for 76 yrs at the time of filming. "Brings themes of love, aging and mortality..."

I have viewed it twice when I was having a rough day and looking for something life affirming.
