7:45AM: Snow update!
2.5" on my car overnight.
13" on the ground in our backyard.
Edited to add: And this is with a few days of rain which melted quite a bit of the accumulation.
6:15AM: 33F, light snow. Winter weather advisory until 4AM Friday.
Guess what? Betcha can't guess!
Yep - you got it! SNOW!
After I go out to clean off my car I'll be back to say for sure how many inches we received. It's the one thing I know was clear of snow last evening so I can get a decent measurement.
Just eye-balling, I think we got 3" overnight.
6"-12" expected.
"@#$%!!" takes deep breath, "#$%^ing $%%$@!"
8:00AM weather update: We received about 2-3" overnight and it's really coming down right now. Visibility ain't good.
Snow gods...please stop shaking the snow globe.
Thank you.
6:15AM: 34F, light kinda rain.
First: WAY TO GO JESSIE HOLMES! Back to back Iditarod wins. I've been a fan of Jessie since his "Life Below Zero" days. He is great with his dogs, works like one too, and really deserves this success!.
That said - I'll always have a warm spot in my heart for Lance Mackey.
OK - moving on. What...the ....what??? Winter weather advisory through Friday?!? 6-8".
Pelican might get up to 20" so, at least we don't live there. ha!
5:45AM: 34F, light snow.
"I can see clearly now the rain has gone..." but no bright, sunshiney day awaits. We have more snow likely today, possibly 3-5 inches.
Also, "Highly variable" snow showers for all week or, I assume now, all of eternity.
But the break in the weather gave us time to get our new fridge up our steep, icy driveway!! After 40 days of no fridge, the gleaming gorgeousness of our new Whirlpool is in the kitchen!
