I was waiting for Unreal Engine to crash again, so I could fruitlessly fix whatever bugs it barfs up, in preparation for the next crash, when I thought, "This is boring. Let's try mixing a tune!"

Then I discovered a killer lead guitar track and violin track that were muted in a mix, probably because the melody doesn't match, and gets stomped on. They are both straight-through jams, so the keyboard violins need editing.

Live keyboards and I are always creativity in search of the key, then we find it, then good stuff happens when I'm not hitting 2 notes where 1 would do. Or hesitating as I wonder what the first chord of a transition is, again.

My brain on keyboards != my brain on strings. The guitar doesn't sound like it needs editing, at first listen.

What to do? What to do?

Well, I never much liked that melody.
