Recently most #MusicPublishers filed a $250m #lawsuit against #Xcorp aka Melon Husk's #MicroBlogging platform for dismantling the site's previous #Copyright strike system, and now encouraging #unlicensed full length uploads. In 2019 the firm now representing #MusicPublishersAssoc vs #Twitter, won a $1 billion #verdict for proving a policy of disregard of takedown requests by ISP Cox. #Photography syndication agencies have also filed similar suit against the site earlier this year. Most major #SocialMedia platforms including Meta, YouTube & #TikTok perform timely #DMCAtakedowns and have agreed to pay #licensees fees while new bad boy #billionaire #birdsite mgmt has publicly mocked and derided #CopyrightLaw and rights of #ContentProviders.
