When one of my favourite artists ever announced his last ever album I had to pick up the special edition. Signed and numbered. So here's me with number 50/316 of "Love and Rockets 3:16 (the Emancipation" by Murs.

I've waited for a minute to get my hands on the record but it was absolutely worth the wait. Initially I planned to give it the first listen when the vinyl was in my hands, but having the audio files on my laptop since I placed the order made it impossible to resist checking it out. That said: it's better to have it on my record player finally.

As far as final albums go this one definitely does not disappoint. No skips and it leaves me wanting more. A bittersweet feeling I suppose. Thankfully Murs has a large discography that I could visit and revisit forever. Plus there's the final Euro tour. I've got tickets.

My favourite tracks on the record are Chopper, Ga$ Prices and OCH. The record is excellent all the way through, though. This is Murs saying goodbye in top form.
