Diese Serie war 2019 noch Dystopie, heute ist sie schlicht Chronik. Eine Art Reality-TV der politischen Verzweiflung, das „damals“ nur zufällig noch als Fiktion verkauft wurde. Simon Cellan Jones hat den Zerfall einer liberalen Gesellschaft mit britischer Präzision und einem sardonischen Lächeln umgesetzt, während Emma Thompson als populistische Politikerin Vivienne Rook die Kamera verschlingt wie eine, die weiß, dass die Monster längst im Publikum sitzen.
