I'm a huge fan of Murray Gold's "Doctor Who" soundtrack and could listen to it all day every day. But I often find it difficult to identify individual pieces because the different themes get re-used frequently. The call-backs are a great way to tie things together in the show, but it makes for many a "wait, is it this or that?" moment.

I have mixed feelings about Murray Gold's scores in Doctor Who but when he gets it right he REALLY gets it right. 'The Shepherd's Boy' is probably my favourite piece of soundtrack in Doctor Who (or one of my favourite soundtrack pieces in anything for that matter).
