Voetballer Derry John Murkin van FC Volendam vervolgt zijn carrière bij het Duitse Schalke 04 in de tweede Bundesliga. De 24-jarige Engelsman, die al op jonge leeftijd naar Nederland kwam, had nog een contract tot de zomer van 2024 in Volendam.
