No WONDER it took me for fucking ever to sort out the time signature etc at the beginning of this song. No WONDER there are extra random bass notes and clapping at the end.
Given the context from this interview: the triplet kick that leads into the first verse is absolute genius. Tap it out with your hands, right hand 16th note hats, left hand 8th note rimshot, half note kicks, then that triplet kick. Boom. Genius.
A band at the absolute peak of their powers and a year later they were done.
