I have always enjoyed having a creative outlet of any kind; whether it’s taking pictures, working on my calligraphy or painting. I started making custom skate decks fairly recently and I really love it. I specifically love working with mixed media. A friend of mine celebrates a birthday next month so I’m making a deck for him. Haven’t decided exactly what I’m doing but, it’ll come to me but for now, I have the base color down. If you scroll, you will see 3 other decks I made. I love #Godzilla and I love #Totoro so, I made these for the house. The #Munsters deck I made for a good friend who absolutely loves that TV show. Why buy art when you can make it. 🤘🏻

Both #Munsters and Addams Family are notoriously difficult to get right.

Even when the original casts are involved it isn't guaranteed to be a hit.

But recasting is an even bigger risk. You don't have the charm of their beloved actors to fall back on if the story is weak.

With that in mind, I had rock bottom expectations for 1995's TV movie "Here Come The Munsters".

To my surprise, the new cast is pretty good: Edward Herrmann (no, seriously, that's his last name) and Veronica Hamel make for a terrific Herman and Lily. While Robert Morse doesn't quite look the part, he does a pretty serviceable Al Lewis impression.

Even Eddie and Marylin work well, here.

The plot isn't the greatest (they never are), but it's not terrible: the Munster clan immigrate to America to get away from "the villagers" and have to stand up to over the top conservative bigotry. I'm not even joking. (Marylin's father has gone missing, too.)

This was a surprising one.
