@fontlab has native slider(s) since version 6.
In version 5, one could even find one in the Metrics Window, that was the #MultipleMaster technique though, and not #VariableFonts.

1 hat uns am Styleguide vom #39c3 gefallen: Die (Wieder-)Entdeckung der #variablefonts, früher von Adobe auch als #MultipleMaster vermarktet. Seit #OpenType v1.8 auch im Standard.

Leider hat die verwendete Schrift #Kario nur eine properitäre Event-Lizenz, also ist nicht(!) #OFL o.ä. Hier als Recherche Grundlage für's nächste mal, evt. #40c3

With this font, @eWalthert flies solo. Inspired by the rotating letters of Daniël, he dug out an old concept developed during the #MultipleMaster era.
