Lens-Artists Challenge #351: Books
Last week Ritva hosted the Challenge, but I wasn’t able to really get started on it before the next Challenge was announced. Her theme was, ‘Books‘. ‘For [this] Challenge’, she said, ‘… I invite you to embrace your inner book lover and share your most creative photographic interpretation of anything related to books’.
I thought about this a lot, because nowadays I can’t really pretend to really be a ‘book lover’. I used to be an avid reader, but moving to Portugal, I stopped buying so many books, and since Brexit … well it’s just become far too expensive — and difficult. I’d sooner spend time collecting unusual cameras, and reading about how to fix them or learning new techniques. So I thought I would just present an image from the books in my collection of one of my favourite authors.
Themes for the Lens-Artists Challenge are posted each Saturday at 12:00 noon EST (which is 4pm, GMT) and anyone who wants to take part can po3st their images during the week. If you want to know more about the Challenge, details can be found here, and entries can be found on the WordPress reader using the tag ‘Lens-Artists’.
