A lovely little tone poem by 20th century Mexican composer Manuel Ponce titled "Por Ti, Mi Corazon." (For You, My Heart.)

I recall that I had the flu at the time and it took every bit of willpower not to drip, sneeze or cough in the middle of a piece!

Daily #SteveKimock. In 1986 Steve was home in PA for a visit. We hung out most of the day playing and then driving around town to visit old friends.

In the evening he asked if there was any club where we could play. I remembered that #MuhlenbergCollege had a pub in the student Union. We walked in and they said yes. We called a bassist friend and he hustled over. We ended up playing for two hours. Here’s a rare clip of him playing swing style.

Been struggling with tendinitis for the past few months. Slowly rehabbing and found that going back to #classicalguitar is less stress than the lap guitars.

This is a #17thcentury #lute duet by William Dawes that I relearned and recorded a few weeks ago. Used to play it back in the 80s. I used the #JulianBream arrangement.

All but the last image are of the chapel at my undergrad school, #muhlenbergcollege, where I played many recitals.
