Together, we created a collaborative VR space in https://newart.city and learned how to use the the platform.
I had heard about #NewArtCity before, but had never tried it and didn't know that there was a free tier.
Playing around with it gave me the same excitement I felt when I tried #MozillaHubs for the first time.
Found out this week that Spark AR Studio / Meta Spark is also being discontinued, along with third-party #Instagram augmented reality (AR) filters...
So far, the social #WebXR space has lost (as far as I know):

- #ThirdRoom
- #SparkAR / #MetaSpark
I just found out today that #MozillaHubs and #MozillaSpoke aren't a thing anymore??? What a bummer...

They made making #VR and #XR environments online so easy and fun. When I was in grad school during the pandemic, I TA'd a video production class and created a virtual critique room in Hubs (with the "environment" being an outdoor snapshot of our campus taken from Google Maps).
If anyone has recommendations or links to any community-managed instances, I'd love to know.
