Ma nonostante l’ennesima vittoria per 2-0, per l’azzurro non è stata una partita semplice, anzi. Michelsen ha infatti servito per il set sul 5-3 al secondo, ma nel momento decisivo – come spesso capita – Sinner è riuscito a far la differenza e a ottenere il controbreak che ha riportato il parziale on serve e poi al tie break, vinto nettamente dall’altoatesino per 7-4. No, perché l’azzurro si è avvicinato all’arbitro per ammettere di aver toccato la palla prima che superasse la linea, quindi prima che rimbalzasse, assegnando così il punto all’avversario.
