We have a week of hot weather ahead - so here’s a cool mountain river. Taggerty River near the Cascades - about 10 kms above Marysville, in Victoria. It was 10º cooler up here.

We finally got a warm Summer’s day - so here’s a cooling photo of Wilhelmina Falls. These falls are 6.3 kms above the Murrindindi River in the Toolangi State forest in Victoria. The climb is 460 metres above the river and rated grade 4 - experienced hikers only. I did it with 12 kgs of camera gear in a back pack - i used to be fit back then!
