Tough couple of weeks so I took a long lunch and went for a #MTB ride up in #MountDiabloStatePark
The climb up to Rock City took all my energy and then some. I was just starting down Wall Point Road when this little #coyote #pup across the fire road. I rode past and he came out of the bushes to watch me ride away.
It was amazing to watch him.
Good intentions but a late start on a hot afternoon lead to a shorter-than-anticipated #MTB ride at #MountDiabloStatePark
I explored some side trails and stopped for a shade and water break under a nice oak tree.
Seven Miles off Pavement
I tried to get out of the house for a ride before the heat set in. I should have got an earlier start, but I did OK.
I stopped for a shade, water, and photo break at the top of my climb. Another bicyclist checked to make sure I was OK while I was taking my break.
