Based on the new research about mosquito repellent, I made a test mix of clove oil (most effective), cinnamon, and peppermint. Prelim. trial seems like it works great.
Base = 1/2 alcohol, 1/2 water, then 5 drops of oil per tsp/5ml of base, mixed however you like--however, clove should be predominant. Mine was 50% clove, 25% cinnamon, and 25% peppermint. Next time, I'd like to add lavender, and maybe eucalyptus, which are also on the list.
