Cute. The road is barely walkable, and always was a logging road. Signs were erected along the way to indicate speed limits and construction zones. (It's not a maintained public road)

Pocket Full Of Poppies

Before we left the highway, hours ago, I stopped by my cousin's, but no one was home.

I snagged a poppy seed pod from the driveway, and put it in my shirt pocket .
By the time the long hike was over, the seed pod had emptied in my pocket.
Should just shake it in a ditch

He once ran the local store, where you could buy copper fittings for the price he purchased them. (50 cents for $2 copper Tee)

The route we took had very few mushrooms, we saw more in parks and cemeteries. Just 5-10 shrooms over several kms of woods roads.

This is the river the community is named after, as kids, we swam in the river in summer. Maybe you remember a place? No longer a swimming hole, but a refuse for entrapped fish.
