Remember how people used to (and maybe still do) take their #laptops into #Starbucks, supposedly to do writing?

I'm watching #DavidCronenberg's adaptation of #TheNakedLunch. Thirty minutes in, the movie cuts into a scene at a #Morroccan coffee shop, where almost every customer has a #typewriter in front of them.

I wonder if Mr. Cronenberg ever noticed or commented on the similarities between this scene and "Starbucks #Writers."

●. She's standing at the side of the headscarf women. That's a Muslim thing. She obviously is Arabian
●. You can tell the "Dutch" people, those are the ones without scarves! Well, they look NOTHING like my mom
