This Is the Story of a Murder Trial
#outsideOnline republished their terrible, clumsy, misogynist, exploitative, sensationalist, salacious writeup of the #moriahWilson story-so-far on #cyclingTips, and i'm actively sad about what has happened to what was my favorite #cycling journalism outlet. i read so many amazing profiles of lesser-known riders, full coverage of women's races when they barely rated a page on PCS, hilarious hot takes on tech and gadgets. ugh. makes me ill.
so hey @caleyfretz how's it going with that new project
absolutely heartbreaking tribute to #MoriahWilson's life and family
But maybe the truth of loss is that the departed live on through the love that echoes among those who knew them. If you’re lucky enough to live until 90, the strongest echoes of your voice in the world—your parents, your siblings, your colleagues, your friends—may have already grown faint. Even your children will say yours was a life well-lived, that your time has come.
That’s almost impossible to say about a 25-year-old. And so, left with the task of seeking justice where none can be found, we proclaim our love as boldly as we can.
