The tragedy isn’t that machines think like us
but that we’ve stopped thinking like humans.
This is not just about PP. This is about who is human, and who is not.
I have seen firsthand how people on medicaid cannot get care, or are forced to jump through far more hoops to get care and keep it going.
Medicaid actively makes itself unappealing to providers, because they pay less and are way more hassle. So, many providers refuse to take Medicaid.
Who does our government consider human, and who do they think are not human?

SCOTUS has just allowed Medicaid to refuse to pay for services from a provider based on politics. In this instance, Planned Parenthood can be pulled as a Medicaid provider. For the record folks, people with Medicaid have a hell of a time finding primary care services right now. Getting rid of a huge provider because some religious nuts don’t like women’s healthcare is going to be terrible for a lot of people, and on balance will probably kill people.
