When we see the world around us, sometimes we see the beauty in it and sometimes the ugly. If we are not seeing the ugly at least as often as we see the beauty, we are complicit in making the world a crueler place for some people. And sometimes, sadly but truthfully, we have to allow for a crueler world, in return for better mental health.
