Anybody ever play Moonstone Island?

It looks like a mix of Stardew Valley, Pokemon, Slay The Spire, and the Atelier games, and I am intrigued but a little worried it's trying to do too many things at once?

I played Moonstone Island today after dropping 7 Days to Die...It's quite nice, the updates have made Moonstone Island better.

I am still annoyed by not being able to designate my character's gender or define the expression of that gender. Due to this, I won't be able to romance one of the hot guys. However, there is enough game here that this won't fully ruin the gameplay experience.
