"The moon is rising..." sang The Weather Girls some time ago that I'm nearly too old to remember. This one heralded the resumption of normal for the season bands of rain from the Atlantic. I might actually be able to get some work done in the house without turning into the human version of an overwet dishcloth. I never thought I'd see the day when an inside temperature of 24 degrees Celsius was going to be too much for me. In my defence, it probably wasn't helped by the near 80% humidity though.
