I keep hearing about really clever algorithms and what they can/might do. But there's an awful lot of crap out there too. Example #Moonpig greetings cards. Each year I send my bro and SiL in Cyprus a birthday card each and a joint Xmas card from Moonpig. That's all. For many, many years. But every week I get special offers for various festivals, weddings, babies, retirements. Obvs their algorithm thinks after all this time I'm suddenly going to start more cards to different people.
