"Moondance" is a song recorded by #NorthernIrish singer and songwriter #VanMorrison and is the title song on his third studio album #Moondance (1970). It was written by Morrison, and produced by Morrison and #LewisMerenstein. Morrison did not release the song as a single until September 1977, seven and a half years after the album was released. It debuted two months later where it reached #92, on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Non sono un patito della qualità dell'ascolto musicale, dell'#hifi come si diceva quarant'anni fa. Tanto che ho messo in cantina la mia collezione di #cd musicali (e in piccola parte di #vinili) sostituendola con file.

D'altra parte sono cresciuto in una famiglia in cui questa era quasi una religione e quindi (maledettamente?) percepisco le differenze fra ascolti di qualità e non come ad esempio quando mi capita di riascoltare musica dai cd invece che da file.

Inoltre, quando ascolto #musica, mi piace ascoltare le versioni "originali", quelle rilasciate dalle artiste e rifuggo dalle versioni "rimasterizzate" o che altro perché sono poco interessanti.

Però devo dire che sto ascoltando la versione del 2013 di #Moondance di #VanMorrison e me la sto godendo e quindi mi contraddico: il disco è un semplice capolavoro che ovviamente già conoscevo, c'è poco altro che posso aggiungere. Ma questa versione aggiunge qualcosina perché lo fa ascoltare proprio bene, con tutti gli strumenti (che sono tanti) bene in evidenza, ottima stereofonia e resa su tutte le frequenze.
