My Final Fantasy X moogle doll sewing project is continuing in between job searching. First of all, thank you to the person who recommended looking at plushify.com. It helped me find the stress points on the mesh.

I have a newer, cleaner pattern. The other day my partner and I made a trip to the fabric store and I picked up some cheap fleece for the next full-scale mockup.

Today I traced the pattern pieces with seam allowance onto the fleece. Turns out my metal rune set worked great as pattern weights!

Hand sewing is hard. I have shaky hands and clumsy fingers. I'm stitching together the bits of fabric for my small prototype moogle plush pattern. Maybe half-way there? I will need to re-pattern in order to reduce the overall number of pieces though.
