Milano, 13 mag. (Adnkronos) - “Gli spunti che trarremo da questo importante convegno ci daranno la possibilità di andare avanti su quella che definisco la rivoluzione generale del sistema trasportistico lombardo, cioè sulla bigliettazione digitale. Ci stiamo lavorando: per settembre mi auguro che partiremo, almeno nelle province di Milano e di Monza e Brianza, per poi estenderlo a tutte le province della Lombardia, così da avere un sistema integrato su tutto il trasporto pubblico locale”. Ad affermarlo Franco Lucente, assessore ai Trasporti e Mobilità sostenibile di Regione Lombardia, durante il convegno ‘Stati generali delle ingegnerie – Innovazioni per un futuro comune', organizzato all'Acquario Civico di Milano dall'Ordine degli Ingegneri della provincia di Milano.
Se il tema dell'incontro è il ruolo degli ingegneri di fronte alle grandi sfide globali, Lucente lo ha affrontato dal punto di vista della mobilità: “Nel sistema regionale del trasporto abbiamo fatto tanto, soprattutto in termini di innovazione, di neutralità tecnologica. Abbiamo lavorato sul cambio della flotta, in termini di trasporto su ferro e su gomma, ma abbiamo lavorato anche sul sistema per cambiare i battelli”, ha ricordato l'assessore. Ora però “dobbiamo essere sinergici e coesi”, ha poi aggiunto, “per rendere la Lombardia competitiva con il resto del mondo. Lo stiamo già dimostrando nel sistema ferroviario: durante le Olimpiadi abbiamo toccato una puntualità fino al 97%, cosa che non si vedeva da molto tempo”.
Transport, Lucente (Transport Councillor Lombardy): "Move forward with digital ticketing"
Milan, May 13 (Adnkronos) - “The insights we will gain from this important conference will give us the opportunity to move forward with what I define as the general revolution of the Lombard transport system, namely digital ticketing. We are working on it: for September I hope that we will start, at least in the provinces of Milan and Monza and Brianza, and then extend it to all the provinces of Lombardy, so as to have an integrated system for all local public transport.” This was stated by Franco Lucente, the Regional Councillor for Transport and Sustainable Mobility of Lombardy, during the conference ‘General Assembly of Engineering – Innovations for a Common Future', organized at the Civic Aquarium in Milan by the Milan Province Order of Engineers.
If the theme of the meeting is the role of engineers in the face of global challenges, Lucente addressed it from the perspective of mobility: “In the regional transport system we have done a lot, especially in terms of innovation and technological neutrality. We have worked on the change of fleet, in terms of rail and road transport, but we have also worked on the system to change the boats,” the Councillor recalled. Now however “we must be synergistic and cohesive,” he added, “to make Lombardy competitive with the rest of the world. We are already demonstrating this in the railway system: during the Olympics we achieved punctuality of up to 97%, which hadn't been seen for a long time.”
