The British colony #Montserratt almost had a large #SlaveRevolt on its hands, planned for #StPatricksDay, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1768, as the white population was largely Anglo-Irish. They planned for domestics to seize weapons, but one ratted them out & nine rebels were hanged.
