I emailed #Monash council after I got home, asked them about the "30 November 2025" and the fact that their "Cyclist Detour" is on a road where the construction crew have placed a "Cyclists Dismount" sign.

I received an auto-reply stating they would respond within 5 business days

I can only assume that in the past calendar week they have not had 5 business days as I have heard nothing

Still no #bikelane
Sill required that "Cyclists Dismount"
Still no sign of activity anywhere from Oakleigh shops to Dandenong road

Out to check on the (current lack of) progress on the connector path from Scotchmans Creek Trail to the Djerring Trail. Half built, barricaded off, "detour" signs saying "until November 30" and a "Cyclists Dismount" sign pointing along the "Cycling detour" preventing you from riding part of it. Any bets on whether any further work happens in 2025?

ps, the traffic lights shown in the detour brochure/map at the Drummond St/Atherton Rd intersection don't exist, they never did
