I don't get it. Are they specifically funded to ditch their #xmpp messengers? Yes, #monal and #conversations_im, I'm talking about you. Why they hibernate for good and stop receiving messages?

#ios ans #android development is the last thing I'd like to dive in at the moment, but they kick me in.

I have an #xmpp server now. A #prosody instance. And I need to make a statement.

There are no good clients for macOS and iOS.

I think I tried all of them. #Monal is a lesser evil.

There is also #Fluux that is very good and really looks like software from the current century, but it still doesn’t support encryption.

This is sad 😔

Very strange bug in #iOS 26.

2 messaging apps are affected.
When words are in Cyrillic, the last word disappear from the chat bubble. The same text in Latin words is OK.

Until now #DeltaChat and #Monal are affected. At least on my device. ElementX works.

#aiutoinformatico da qualche giorno io e la mia ragazza abbiamo cominciato ad usare #xmpp ma mi capita ripetutamente di ricevere messaggi d’errore: “il messaggio è stato cifrato con OMEMO ma non è stato possibile decifrarlo”. A lei non risulta nessun problema e soprattutto non corrispondono a nessun messaggio che effettivamente non è stato possibile decifrare. Io uso #monal su iOS, e lei #conversations su Android, profili registrati sullo stesso server. Di che problema si potrebbe trattare?
