I finished Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight last night 🌕 🍁
A good metroidvania that can be completed in 5-10 hours, depending on whether you want to collect all the items or not.
It doesn't revolutionize the genre, but it's a lot of fun! 😀

It looks pretty good.
(the game is on sale on Steam right now)
Let's talk about games once more? Maybe give a walk in the memory lane of the games that gave me the inspiration, and hope for making games? Let's talk

Behind every pixel, every line of code, lies a story of struggle and persistence. This may be my reflections on game development, respect for forgotten creators, and the engines that shaped generations. An invitation to remember why making games is difficult, and why it still matters.
Another week and I'm alive to write about some cool stuff. And today we will talk about code. More specific, we will discuss how the sausage is made, but for cut scenes, if this interests you, grab the link and have fun:

Momodora: Moonlit Farewell #3: Deity Slayer Priestess – FINALE
Truth be told, I didn't expect to clear the game today… but I did
As usual, no summary for the actual ending because spoilers, but I have to admit that the final boss fight was easier than I had expected.
That's actually something I think that applies to the entire series. I thought the series would (a) frustrate me to hell and (b) be actually impossible for me to finish, but I did manage to clear all 5 games without too much trouble. Sure, there were times when it was touch-and-go and times when I almost threw the towel, but I got through it in the end. And, admittedly, I had a bunch of fun, too. Way more than I expected.
In general, I guess I can say that the games didn't meet my expectations. In a good way, though
I'll put up a game selection poll for the next game in this stream slot shortly; Its first stream will be Wednesday next week (unless I somehow screw something up).
As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining
Momodora: Moonlit Farewell #2: Return of the Boobie Bonker
Mmh, actually, today was kind of fine.
We did make a new acquaintance with Mitchi, a Grimalkin who allows us to fast-travel across the map, and we also talked to the Fairy Queen, as well as a white snake who used to hail from Ishlith.
And a lot of map discovery was done today, too
We'll go for the next boss fight—that I stumbled into today and failed—next time, so on Friday.
I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining
