This is horrifying on at least 2 levels. If the Xitter data can be trusted, the international psyops it reveals is pretty teeth-gritting. But I'm not sure it can, given that it's probably generated using a Trained #MOLE, in an attempt to correct for the use of VPNs, etc, to spoof location. I'll never forget the story about the elderly couple who get visits from the feds because their home is closest to a point in the centre of the US, commonly given by geolocation services.

In either case, if people want to check out these projects, for inspiration, implementation ideas, or historical curiosity, they often have to go to GritHub to find them. An archive of fediverse software on a fully libre code forge, with no Trained #MOLE trying to "help", could be a better option.
