The Prune colour is gorgeous, the 78% Kid Mohair yarn is the softest, and knits very quickly with 6mm! (My last project was knitted in 3mm...)

#Knitting #WIPWednesday – ever so slightly delayed by #life:

The semicircular shawl is nearly out of yarn, but not yet out of rows. I will switch to a complementary but far brighter colour when it runs out. I played #YarnChicken and lost. (Being fair to myself, the pattern predicted 1200 m, I purchased 1380 m, and used a smaller needle, but still missed the gauge somehow.)

Still have not decided if I will block to points, or a soft ripple.

Vous pourrez y rencontrer les bêtes à poil, causer pastoralisme, et trouver également toutes sortes de produits locaux (biscuits, café, confitures, conserves de légumes/fruits, sans oublier le fromage et le miel).

I blended some of the mohair, silk, and Wnsleydale.

IT WAS AWFUL!

I'm not wasting silk on something I'm not happy with.

So I sulked for a bit, then decided to spin some of the mohair on its own. I'm happy now.

It's hard, but not so hard it's a ballache. Kind of just concentraty enough.

Anyway, I should have enough of the dyed stuff to make a hat.

I've ordered more mohair fleece, enough to make a jumper! :))
