Modyfi was a promising online animation platform, that we used for some of our animations.
But it got bought by Figma and will be discontinued on June 13th.
Too bad start-ups are still building products to be bought out, rather than creating something sustainable. #Modyfi + #Figma

We will happily keep using #Cavalry!

Own your tools—not the other way around. #Modyfi, a platform that once promised “Design without limits”, got acquired by Figma. Users have until June 13 to export their work—except for layered animation files, which can’t be exported at all. This is why we need more software that runs offline.
